Missions

Being the Light
Jesus said that believers would be the light of the world.  There is no one God does not love and want to experience His grace and forgiveness. This belief leads us to passionately spread this good news of Jesus Christ to all people through all godly means.  Though we are a small church, we voluntarily partner with approximately 50,000 other Southern Baptist Churches throughout the United State and Canada in order to spread the good news here in Bethlehem, the Greater Lehigh Valley, in Pennsylvania, in the U.S. and around the world.  Though our church is small in numbers, we are big in heart and we band with these other churches to support around 10,000 missionaries.

Disaster Relief

Did you know that Southern Baptists are engaged in disaster relief?  Did you know that we are the second largest provider of disaster relief in the U.S. behind the Red Cross?

Would you like to learn what Southern Bapstists are doing in the area of Disaster Relief?

Over the years, members of Fellowship Baptist have travelled to Brazil, Chile, Khazakstan, Russia, Latvia, South Africa and two other unspecified locations (unnamed for security reasons) to share the Good News of the Gospel.

International Missions

As a participating Southern Baptist Church, we support over 3,500 missionaries in over 180 countries around the world.  We just began our collection for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions and collected.  Our goal is $1,500 this season.  Many of our members have been called by the Lord into International missions over the years and we encourage our members to do more than give and pray for missions by participating in short-term mission projects around the globe.

North American Missions

We collect the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missionaries.  100% of all the gifts given will be used to support missionaries in the U.S. and Canada.  Pray about your participation in this life-changing offering as Fellowship Baptist began as a mission church funded by this offering 28 years ago.
